Natalie and Matthew's Cliffside wedding
Wow, what a day this was, from start to finish the energy was fantastic. A morning dip down at Fermain started the celebrations, with champagne popped by 9.30am I knew it was going to be a fun day. The drizzle and grey skies didn't stop anyone and the fresh high tide was waiting for the swimmers. After a dip and plenty of excited chat, we trekked back up the hill and on to Natalie's family home where she readied herself with her mum and sister with a calm and relaxed vibe. Onwards to the Forest church, beautifully adorned with flowers by Simply Bespoke and full with waiting guests. The ceremony began with the most personal touches from readings by family and friends and Natalie and Matthew looked incredible stood in this beautiful church surrounded by friends and family, her dress simple and elegant and Matthew in his military uniform, a picture perfect couple. From here we took the short drive down to the Gouffre restaurant, the flowers from the service were transferred to the marquee and the table cloths took centre stage (personally designed by the bride herself) creating the most beautiful setting for a delicious dinner and some incredible speeches including one by the bride. Before the dinner we took a stroll down the cliff path where the sun peeked behind the cloud briefly for some couple shots. We returned to the same spot later in the evening with the guests to get some amazing group shots and some stunning cliffside portraits which I think are some of my favourites! With an adventurous crowd and many military men attending, it didn't take much for them to adventure off onto the cliffs for sunset photos which allowed me to capture some really great memories for the couple. As soon as we returned the music started and the guests flocked to the dance floor, I don't remember seeing it empty at any point before leaving, an incredible party with a wild bunch of friends who showed so much love for this incredible couple. An absolute pleasure to be a part of it!
